Manning continued her scoring spree as she tallied 10 goals and six assists for 16 points in a 2-1 week for the Bears. In an 18-10 win over conference foe Castleton, Manning scored five goals and added three assists as she notched two draw controls, two caused turnovers and a ground ball. Manning also registered four goals, two assists, two ground balls, and four draw controls in the Bears 23-12 win over Salve Regina.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Lyndsey Nunes, Worcester St.
(Senior, GK - Springfield, MA)
Nunes posted a 6.27 goals against average as Worcester State opened 3-0. Nunes made 24 saves on the week while relinquishing just 17 goals for a 58.5 save percentage aiding in a one goal and two goal victory.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Rachel Dionne, Westfield St.
(Freshman, Midfield – Feeding Hills, MA)
Dionne scored 10 goals with there assists in a 1-2 week for the Owls. The freshman scored three goals with three assists as Westfield defeated Thomas for their first win as a new member of the NEWLA.
