Massa netted 7 goals with an assist and collected with 22 ground balls and forced 2 turnovers. The senior scored five goals in an 11-9 victory over Becker.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

 Meghan Griffin, Bridgewater State College
(Sophomore, Goalie - Billerica, MA)
Griffin backstopped the Bears to a perfect 3-0 week which included a pair of NEWLA wins over Worcester State and Fitchburg State. Griffin went 3-0 on the week with 21 saves and a 7.60 goals against average.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

 Jenny Jones, Bridgewater State College
(Freshman, Attack - Framingham, MA)
Jones scored ten goals and added seven ground balls and five draw controls in a perfect 3-0 week for the Bears which included a pair of NEWLA wins over Worcester State and Fitchburg State.
