VanDerKar paced Castleton's offense in a 2-1 week overall scoring a team-high 12 goals (21 shots) while adding one assist. The junior attacker also picked up 12 ground balls, won eight draw controls and caused 10 turnovers to propel the Spartans to a winning week.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Amanda Cosenza, Worcester State
(Sr., M/A - Shrewsbury, MA)
Cosensa picked up a game-best seven ground balls while she caused three turnovers to help lead Worcester State to a 17-13 triumph over Rhode Island College. Cosenza also tallied three goals and two assists for five points in the victory.
