Deb Draper Named Worcester State Head Womens Lacrosse Coach
Worcester, MA - Worcester State College Director of Athletics
Susan Chapman has announced that Deb Draper has been hired as the
new Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach at Worcester State College.
Draper replaces former head coach Meighan Guiney who left the
Lancers to take a similar post at Franklin Pierce College this past
summer.
Draper assumes the positions after a three year stint on Salisbury
Street at Assumption College. Prior to that, Draper was the coach
of the WPI club team from 1989 through 2004. Draper has also
coached with Boston Women’s Lacrosse and New England
Women’s Lacrosse. In 1991, she was the coach of the USWLA
Division II Divisional Champion.
Draper is a 1980 graduate of Bridgewater State College where she
was a four year goalie on the lacrosse and field hockey teams.
Draper is an elementary physical education teacher and health
teacher in Berlin, MA.
